Line your resume up with the job you want
Jobscan compares your resume with a posting and shows the skills, keywords, and formatting to fix before you apply.
Free plan includes 5 scans each month. Premium is billed monthly or every three months.
What you can do
The checklist is for that posting
Missing terms come from the description you pasted, so the edit list is specific instead of a generic resume lecture.
You can rescan in minutes
Change the file, run it again, and see the match rate move. Tailoring becomes a short loop you can finish before you apply.
Cover letter and LinkedIn in the same account
Premium adds a cover letter report, a cover letter generator, and a LinkedIn check against several job descriptions.
A first report can be free
A free account gets 5 scans each month, which is enough to see whether the checklist helps on a real role.
How it works
- 01
Upload the resume and paste the posting
Bring a file you already have, or build one in Jobscan, then add the job description you want to match.
- 02
Read the match report
See a match rate, the skills the posting named, and formatting notes on fonts, margins, and layout.
- 03
Edit and scan again
Change only the lines that are true, run the comparison once more, then export and apply. Each rescan uses a scan.
Who it’s for
Jobscan suits people who already have a resume and want a clear checklist before they apply. Paste the job description, upload your file, and see what the posting asks for that your page does not yet say. It fits anyone applying through portals that read resumes with applicant tracking software. Use the free scans on the roles you care about most.
Choose how many scans you need

Questions
What is Jobscan?
Jobscan is a resume checker. You upload a resume and paste a job listing. It compares the two and returns a match report with a match rate, missing skills, and formatting notes. A resume builder, cover letter tools, and LinkedIn optimization sit around that same workflow.
How many free scans do I get?
A free account gets 5 scans each month, added on the same day of the month you joined. Every comparison counts, including a rescan after you edit. Unused scans roll over, but you can hold at most 5 at a time.
What does Premium add?
Premium removes the scan limit and keeps unlimited scan history. The match report shows every hard and soft skill plus formatting advice, where free accounts see searchability tips and a shorter skills list. Premium also adds the cover letter report, the cover letter generator, and LinkedIn optimization.
What does Premium cost?
Jobscan lists Premium at $49.95 per month, or $89.95 every three months, which works out to about $30 per month. It does not list a yearly plan. Sales tax is added based on your billing address. Confirm the live rate on Jobscan before you subscribe.
Is there a trial?
Jobscan lists a 7-day Premium trial that leaves out the full LinkedIn Optimizer. Its plan page says there is no trial on monthly billing or if you skip the trial to get full LinkedIn access right away. Confirm the current terms before you enter a card.
What happens if I cancel?
You can cancel in Jobscan or through its support team. Paid features stay on until the end of the period you paid for. When the plan ends, you lose access to paid features and the data tied to them, so export anything you want to keep first.
How do I use it on a real application?
Upload your resume, paste the job description, and read the match report. Add the keywords that are true for you, fix the formatting notes, and scan again. When the overlap looks solid, export the file and apply.
Check the resume against the posting
Paste a job you care about, read the gaps, and send a file that uses the words that are true.
5 free scans each month. Premium is billed monthly or every three months.
