Open the quotes behind any answer you plan to reuse. Paid plans can export tables to CSV or Excel and references to RIS or BIB.

How monthly usage works
Each plan has one monthly usage pool shared across Research Agent, Reports, and Systematic Reviews. Larger jobs use more. Unused usage does not roll over.
- Pro and Scale can turn on extra usage with a monthly spend limit. It is billed in $100 increments.
- Annual plans still reset usage each month, on the anniversary of the subscription date.
- When the pool runs out, the Find Papers skill stays available until the next reset.
- Enterprise pricing is custom, with screening up to 40,000 papers and 40 columns.

Yes. The Basic plan is free and includes unlimited search, unlimited summaries, source views, and Zotero import. Research Agent and Reports have limited usage on Basic. Systematic Reviews and custom extractions from uploaded papers start on Pro.
What do Pro and Scale cost?
On annual billing, Pro is $49 per user per month, charged as $588 a year, and Scale is $169 per user per month, charged as $2,028 a year. Elicit also offers monthly billing at a higher rate. Confirm the month-to-month price on Elicit before you choose.

Does Elicit replace reading the papers?
No. The table is a screening aid that helps you decide which studies deserve a full read. Open the quote behind any figure you will cite, and read the full paper for anything central to your argument.
Can I add papers I already have?
Yes. You can upload papers to a Research Agent session or a Systematic Review and extract the same columns from them. Custom extractions from uploaded papers are listed on Pro and higher plans.
Is there a student or academic discount?
Elicit offers discounted Academic plans for students, researchers, and educators. Choose Academic in the plan dropdown on the pricing page to see those rates. Elicit does not offer free access or a separate nonprofit discount, and points nonprofits to the Academic plans.
